For a long time I swore to ignore twitter…however I sold out and now, only 2 years behind the curve, you can follow and get tweeted and all that stuff that I hate.

Chicago Updates

Hey everybody. Still in Chicago, and so I’m not really where I can put up a new video update. Did 2 hour comedy last night and it was good. While here I’m also able to appear at The Spot for G-Spot Comedy and tomorrow I’ll be at Riddles. So theres still a chance to catch a show on my mini-tour here in the only city that I’m aware of in Illinois.

For those back on the homefront, I’ll be back Tuesday just in time to visit Stanford and Sons and support the local KC comedy scene with an appearance at their weekly Showcase, so come see me.

Also, once I’m back work on Mantapus stuff will be commencing as well. So there will be more headway on videos, podcasts,and other mind candy.

Abducted Girlfriends: Episode 1

The first in a new Mantapus series went live, Abducted Girlfriends. This ongoing (for at least 4 or 5 installments) explores the aftermath of iconic gamer character couples who faced harrowing kidnappings and rescuings.

The first episode focuses on Double Dragon, and is pretty stellar. Hope everyone likes it. It’s also the premiere of Troy Blackwood and Emily Thompson on the Mantapus Roster. Special thanks to Megadriver for use of their rad cover of the DD theme.

Hey everyone, as you can probably tell the website is looking a little different. There’s still more polishing and adding on to go, so keep watching the evolutions.
As far as recent activity, I’ve been doing stand up shows more which slowed production a bit. So for the rest of May and June I’m going to cut down on stand up and focus on more on making sure the site content doesnt lull. We just released SBVH episode 5.5, and episode 6 is in the works, and other fun stuff on the way.

Welcome back…unless you’ve never been here before, in which case just welcome. It’s been a little while since the last update so heres the ups and downs:

I just finished a week at Stanfords doing stand up with Dianne Ford, and have been scribbling hastily trying to get SBVH episode 6 ready to air, as well as getting some more videos posted. There was a bit of a lull in productivity here on the website, but Mantapus is always keeping in motion elsewhere.

Looks like a few more shows are popping up for me in April, and looking to be a venture out to Chicago for a few shows in the summer. I’ll have specific dates on all that as it confirms.

Finally, the website is going to be changing soon as well…so look forward to a bigger brighter Mantapus. Keep an eye on it, it should be pretty stellar.
